What is a final Bond Inspection?

This is the last inspection carried out as soon as possible after the end of a tenancy, when the tenants have returned their keys.  This inspection ensures the property is handed back in a condition that’s as close as possible to the condition the tenants received at the start of their tenancy; the Property Condition Report is used here. It is at this inspection that any items or issues needing to be rectified (since the last inspection and in general) are done so by the tenant or arranged to be completed by professional contractors and deducted from the bond. There may also be maintenance or other owner related issues that need to be attended to before the property is re-let and the final inspection is the opportunity to pick this up and discuss them with you.
